Sizing
Viberg sizing is similar to UK sizing. We recommend 1 size smaller than your size as measured on a Brannock device.
If you do not know your Brannock size, we recommend 1 size smaller than your most common sneaker size, 0.5 smaller than your Red Wing Iron Ranger size, or 0.5 smaller than your Alden Barrie last size.
Viberg’s 2045 Last is based on the famed Munson last that is modified with a bump toe. This roomy and accommodating last is advertised as a EE-width, but it fits well for a wide variety of feet shapes and sizes. For those with D through EE width feet, we recommend taking your usual size in other Viberg lasts – typically 1 full size down from your brannock measurement or most common shoe size (as described above). Customers with an EE width who are unfamiliar with Viberg sizing are recommended to take 0.5 (half) size smaller than their usual size. Customers who have below a D-width may need to use an insole and/or thick socks and may wish to size down 1 or even 1.5 sizes from their brannock measurement or most common shoe size.
